UBC Elected Leadership
The elected lay leadership of UBC is entrusted to men and women who serve rotating three-year terms on the Executive Council, Trustees, as Officers, and on various committees or task forces created for different purposes. The Senior Pastor has overall responsibility to lead the church, organizations, and staff and the Executive Director manages the resources and personnel. Together, the Senior Pastor, Executive Director and elected lay leaders form the governance of the church. UBC is also a 501(c)3 not-for-profit religious corporation and therefore has formal officers in the Trustees, Treasurer, and Secretary. On each webpage below you will find brief descriptions of the roles of each group and the formal definitions can be found in the UBC by-laws available on request.
