Steps To Reopening UBC

After prayerful consideration, we are excited to announce a phased reopening plan based on local community and government guidelines, input from medical professionals, school reopening plans, and many other discussions.

Remember, we will continue to gather for worship online on YouTube and! You can be a part of our live streams at 9 and 11 am on Sunday mornings or on-demand on the website.

We want to invite you to come back and regather with us in person! If you are comfortable being on campus and gathering with friends, we would love to have you join us.

Reopening Plan

Phase 1 – August 23

  • Worship First at 9 & 11 am

Phase 2 – September 13

Phase 3 – September 27

Who should attend?

  • Only those who are comfortable meeting in person should attend the onsite worship services or other activities.
  • If you are not comfortable returning to the campus, you are not alone! Many of our congregation will continue to gather online for worship, small groups and other gatherings. We support your decision.
  • Those in vulnerable health categories should give extra consideration before meeting in person and feel free to continue joining us for worship online.
  • If you or a family member are experiencing any signs of illness (e.g., fever, coughing, sneezing, loss of smell/taste, etc.), please wait until all are well to visit in person and instead, join us online.

Face coverings

  • In consideration of our fellow worshipers, face coverings will be required for everyone ten and older. Please bring your face covering. A limited number of single-use masks will be available if needed.
  • The East Foyer will be available to those medically unable to wear a face covering.

Other important notes

  • The services will last for one hour to give time for sanitizing and resetting the Worship Center between services.
  • Adult groups will continue to meet online until later this fall.

Again, we want to make it clear that attending in person is YOUR choice. We do not want you to feel pressure to return if you are in any way uncomfortable doing so. Online services will continue, and we will continue to connect digitally with those who are not yet comfortable being in the building.
