Description of Ministry
U.M. ARMY (United Methodist Action Reach-Out Mission by Youth) mission programs are an opportunity for youth (completed 8th through 12th grades), young adults and adult leaders to experience Christian growth through mission, worship and fellowship.

Description of UBC Involvement
UBC students and adults live and work with students and adults from other churches for a week in the summer in a small east Texas town. UM ARMY uses a local church as a base to host their meals, sleep in classrooms, and worship in the Sanctuary. Participants spend each day of the week providing free home repairs for low-income, elderly, and disabled homeowners in the surrounding area. Projects may include painting, minor repair or construction of wheel chair ramps.

Trip Dates: July 2020
Cost: $350/students, adult sponsors go at no charge
