Twenty preschoolers, ages 3 and 4, joined our fall semester of Praise Kids choir. Every Sunday evening, songs were learned, and sweet little voices raised to our Lord while bells jingled and sticks kept rhythm. Leaders Kim Dischler, Leslie Rucker and Michelle Tressler, eagerly prepared the children for the December 2 Christmas concert.
“As I sat in church this morning (Dec. 9) and heard the orchestra sing O Come Let Us Adore Him, and For Unto Us a Child is Born, and noticed them play rhythm sticks and maracas, I felt God whisper to me that what we do in preschool choir is indeed worthy,” said Leslie Rucker. “One day, our Praise Kids will be adults on that stage. We have put God’s Word in their hearts, and turned their focus to Christ during Christmas.”
