We arrived in Los Angeles yesterday to a balmy day that quickly got super hot. It's two hours earlier here, so we got to eat breakfast twice which was fun! The guy sitting next to me on the plane described LA as a zoo. Houston is a huge city, but LA feels like chaos...sensory overload. Super fast-paced in a crazy-cramped way. It's hard to describe.
We met with Louis and Anna Kang for dinner last night at a Korean restaurant. The Kangsfounded The Church LA, an organization located in downtown LA within a close walk to the wealthiest financial district, Skid Row, Sports, and Arts. It's a crazy, close combination of demographics. We are prayerfully hoping to figure out how to partner with this church and learn from them.
