Thinking Faith Academy was developed for women who like to think, who want more. Jesus said that we are to love God with all our minds, and TFA is a great place to expand your thinking, knowledge and application of God’s word. Subject matter includes Old and New Testament studies, counseling issues, history, apologetics (how to defend the faith in a culture that is growing more and more apathetic toward God, but in a gentle and loving manner), and prayer. Every semester we plan a TFA family night when the whole family gets to learn about a current social issue that is culturally relevant. These evenings are usually facilitated by one of our UBC pastors. Want to go deeper? Join us in Thinking Faith Academy.

The New Testament is the world’s best-selling and most widely distributed book of all time. No wonder! It reveals God’s plan of redemption through Jesus Christ. It tells us who we are and our purpose for existing. These are just a few reasons why we will be studying the New Testament this fall. We will learn about everything from the Middle East in Jesus’ day to the trustworthiness of the Gospels, and even the theological controversies of Paul’s letters. You really do not want to miss this semester in TFA! Come join us as we enter the world of the New Testament and find amazing things together!
