IS Groups
UBC Student Ministries focuses on providing an environment that inspires students to initiate or strengthen a personal and intimate relationship with God through Jesus Christ. Here, our students build positive peer groups and experiences that direct them toward a Christ-centered future.
Weekend Bible Study
Saturday nights, 6:00 pm & Sundays, 9:30 & 11:00 am
Nurturing the Christian life is important to us at UBC, and we believe it best takes place in Bible study classes and in small groups. Our Weekend Bible Study (WBS) program encourages us to experience our full potential in Christ by:
- Providing a caring environment for cultivating the Christian life
- Offering life-changing Bible study in a small group setting
- Reaching out to the community and involving them in the church family
- Meeting the needs of one another through compassionate ministry
d.groups
Sundays, 6:15 pm
It takes a lot to get through the intermediate school years. School, friends, parents, sports, and spiritual growth are all very hard. We want to help you connect with others who have been where you are. d.groups are small groups of intermediate students grouped together and linked with high school leaders. The goal is for you to develop a relationship that runs on spiritual accountability.

IS Drama
Sundays, 4:45-6:00 pm
Theatre affords youth the opportunity to learn acting skills coupled with teamwork in order to produce original dramas. In recent months, the IS Drama Team has produced a DVD entitled Girls at a Table. The message was that girls of the intermediate school age have many important issues that they are facing, and they need to share their feelings about these issues with us.
