Renovare Essentials Conference Speakers

Let us introduce you to the Renovaré team members who will be leading the Essentials conference at UBC.

CHRIS WEBB

Chris comes to us from Wales, United Kingdom. Since ordination into the Anglican Church, Chris has served as Vicar in various churches and in several administrative posts, one in the office of Rowan Williams who is now the Archbishop of Canterbury. Chris is the author of the Renovaré resource entitled The Path to Life that will be in your registration packet. His new book, The Fire of the Word, is now available in our bookstore. It is focused on Lectio Divina and its place in the Christian’s life with God. Chris is married to Sally and has four children. He is President of Renovaré USA.

KAI NILSEN

Kai Nilsen has for over 20 years now served as a pastor to larger Lutheran congregations and has a deep desire for ministry partnerships across denominational lines. He is the co-author, with his family, of For Everything a Season: 75 Blessings for Daily Life, a book that reflects his passion for encouraging families to speak and live their faith and walk with God and with one another. Kai and Patti, his wife, live in Gahanna, Ohio.

MICKEY COX

Mickey Cox works in the Renovaré office as the Ministry Coordinator. He is ordained in the Church of the Nazarene, has worked in Youth Ministry for over 40 years, and has written two books to guide youth in spiritual formation: No Limits Discipleship Journal and Sacred Life. He is currently writing a book for youth pastors focused on the Renovaré spiritual formation model. He has a deep desire to pass on to another generation what it means to be a disciple of Jesus.
