This fall, be challenged by articles and presentations by different Biblical scholars, historians, missiologists, and practitioners who will be coming to UBC to challenge our paradigms for life and ministry.

One of the overarching goals is to see people-group movements towards Christ as opposed to one-off, individual conversions.  Our understanding of God’s work through Israel, through the Gentile-church, and through myriad cultures in the world (and in the hundreds of “cultures” in Clear Lake for that matter), will change how we understand our role and the role of UBC in our community and in our world – It should affect not only how we address individuals, but how we affect change among groups of people representing different ethnicities, backgrounds, ideologies, etc... wherever we find ourselves.

Read articles and be challenged through presentations each week by different Biblical scholars, historians, missiologists, and practitioners who will be coming to UBC to challenge our paradigms for life and ministry!

The course ushers students through the study of:

  • God's mission and character through the Bible
