2012 Mission Trips
UBC is involved in ministry both locally and around the world. Below are the 2012 scheduled and 'potential' trips for you to explore. Please pray about how you could participate.
Mexico
April 27 - 29
Vine and Branches Ministries
UBC missionaries will serve during the Day of the Child Festival (Dia de los Ninos) in Piedras Negras, Mexico. This weekend trip will coordinate with the International Soccer Ministry and work with children in the village. Cost: $150.
Honduras
June 1 - 8
Baptist Medical & Dental International
Assist medical and dental providers in giving care to the people of Honduras. Medical or dental experience not necessary. Approximate cost: $1,500.

Navajo Reservation
June 22 - 30
This will be our 24th summer on the Navajo Reservation. This summer UBC will construct a church building, train church leaders, work with children in Vacation Bible School and sports camp for teens. Approximate cost: $1,000
Indonesia
July 1 - 8
Missionaries will help with member care for workers in Indonesia. Contact the for further information.
South Africa
July 19 - 31
Norwegian Settlers Church
Adult and high school student missionaries will work with Genesis Trust (the outreach arm of Norwegian Settlers Church), help serve the community by meeting physical, social and spiritual needs associated with HIV/AIDS, poverty and other social issues. We will work in schools teaching life skills and local orphanages communicating the Gospel of Jesus in a multitude of ways. Approximate cost: $3,300-$3,500.

Dominican Republic
July 18 - 25
UBC Women's Ministries
UBC women will train and encourage Christian teachers of underprivileged children, work and play with children in a Christian orphanage and provide needed teaching materials to be used in the schools and the orphanage. There will be time for personal renewal as well. Approximate cost: $1,500.

London
July 26 - August 14
Olympic Games
Around the period of the Olympic Games, we will construct a set of marquees in a large green space in the middle of Chalfont St. Peter. This will be the main location from which we will run a variety of different activities for babies, children, youth and adults. We will run a hospitality tent for parents. During the evening we will be showing live Olympic events on big screens as well as other sporting, cultural and outreach events. During the weekends we will be organizing sporting events and tournaments. On Sundays there will be large celebration worship services, and services to mark the closing and opening ceremonies of the Olympic Games. Approximate cost: $2,000.

Nicaragua
August 18 - 25
Living Water International
UBC's Living Water International team (both men and women welcome) will drill a water well for a village. Women are also need to teach hygiene classes. No experience is necessary. Approximate cost: $1,700.

Thailand
October 6 - 20
His Hands and Feet Ministry
Missionaries work with the Thai believers and church plants established during previous trips as well as orphanages and schools. The team will work in villages to feed and teach orphans and students, and to train young believers and church leaders. Approximate cost: $2,700.
Haiti
October 19 - 27
Missionaries engage in discipleship and follow up with church planting; work with the school that has been started and children attending the school. Approximate cost: TBD.

Mexico
- Serve during July alongside Vine and Branches Ministries in Piedras Negras. UBC missionaries will work with soccer teams, children in the study program, and feeding children. Approximate cost: $150.
Seattle, Washington
- Journey Church (Matthew Savage) is in need of interns to strengthen the church. Also, a trip is being discussed to help with other needs.
Long Island, New York
- Serve during August at Ecclesia Church of East Islip (Sterling Edwards) as a summer resident; help with new church plant.
Mexico
- Serve during early December alongside Vine and Branches Ministries in Piedras Negras. UBC missionaries will work with the Reading Room's Christmas party. Approximate cost: $150.
