Well, it has been over a week since we have been here and we can definitely feel God's presence. This afternoon we were over at the Gerrad's Cross Commons and our duty was to play sports with the kids that gather at this field on a regular basis. While we were busy throwing an American football and bumping the volleyball around I noticed a couple had pulled up on the side with bikes and were just watching. I began to walk towards them and they seemed very nervous and anxious. After greeting them with a smile and ease they immediately calmed down. Come to find out they were missionaries from France who were in London practicing their English. I have to admit they are pretty brave. They struggled a little bit but I was overall impressed. We kept talking for about 10 minutes or so and they were so fascinating to talk to. After being in London for 3 weeks they were off to Africa to teach at a boarding school.
Please pray for all of the missionaries across the world who are trying to get the Lord's word out to the lost, hopeless and broken. Please continue to pray for our team here in London, including the other churches here from the states, many are facing long travels back home beginning tomorrow. Pray that they will remember the difference we made here in Chalfont St. Peter's and Gerrad's Cross. Pray for the community and the churches in the area that they can "water the seeds" that we have planted in these children. God is working in mysterious ways over here.
