This morning I was able to meet over 95 children aged 8-11 from the surrounding areas of Chalfont St. Peter and Gerrads Cross all in one white tent. Within two hours of singing songs, playing games, and having stories, I was amazed by a child that was nine years old. This child felt led to share a prayer with everyone in the tent. He led us in his prayer about praying for his Dad that has cancer. He said that he knows that God heals people and he prays that God heals his father.
He impressed me that he was bold enough to stand up in front of a hundred children and adults, not knowing if they are believers, and share part of his faith. This is just a glimpse of what God is doing in the lives of the children and people of the UK. God has been working here in the UK and I am excited to see what else he has been working on. Please pray for the children, youth, and adults that will be attending the events in the next two weeks. Pray that the volunteers are open to the opportunities that are around us to minister to the people of this community.
