CARES Teams
Apartment Life provides FREE APARTMENTS to Christian couples who have a mature faith and strong social skills to minister in their community.
UBC is partnering with Apartment Life - a creative and powerful outreach ministry to neighboring apartment communities. We are seeking to place teams (married couple or two single adults) from our church into these communities to assist management in building community and serving residents.
These CARES Teams receive a free apartment and commit 10 hours per week (per team member) of ministry to the community. CARES Teams welcome new residents, provide social activities and support residents in time of special need. CARES Teams quickly become the "hub" of community life, and these relationships form the foundation for meeting spiritual needs. CARES Teams offer Bible studies at resident request and connect interested residents to local churches.
Many communities are waiting for CARES Teams. Prospective CARES Teams can visit the CARES website.
