Multimedia Ministry
UBC is fortunate to have a long history of willing multimedia volunteers. Currently there are about 30 team members, some serving on a weekly basis, others serving on an "as needed" basis.
The goal of the Multimedia Team is to provide audio, video and lighting support for all church sponsored events.
This includes live production support, recording and producing videos and other multimedia productions for use in the various services and activities, and recording weekly services and selected other events to DVD, CD, and/or the web.

Activities and Technologies
Multimedia Team volunteers have the opportunity to learn and operate a wide variety of state-of-the-art gear. This includes things like:
- production-grade studio cameras and video switchers
- hi-definition video cameras
- Mac or PC video and audio editing software
- analog and digital audio mixers
- standard and DMX lighting
Hands-on training is provided by qualified personnel and on-going support is always available.

Serve with the Multimedia Ministry
The UBC Multimedia Team provides a rare opportunity to serve while gaining experience and training that can be useful in the marketplace.
As you develop your technical skills, you may find new interests that would carry over into a career. Some team members have decided to take on free-lance work as audio engineers or to pursue a degree in media. Other team members are audio or video hobbyists who joined the team because they enjoy the camaraderie and the opportunity to serve.
