Harvey

Upcoming Serving Opportunity

HARVEY VOLUNTEER DAY: Saturday, Feb 10, 8 am, Clear Creek Community Church

Hundreds of families affected by Hurricane Harvey are still displaced in our area. Local churches, including UBC, have joined forces in what is called the "4B Network."

We need people to conduct home-assessments. Training will be provided so that you will know the easy assessment process. We’re meeting at 8 am at Clear Creek Community Church (999 N. FM 270 in League City). For more information, please contact fellow UBCer, Jim Tatum at  .

Latest updates on UBC's Hurricane Harvey recovery efforts

We continue to pray for and support those who were affected by Hurricane Harvey.  Currently, we are able to assist with some recovery/rebuilding projects.  If you have a rebuilding need and would like to submit a request for help, please fill out and submit the form below.  Priority will be given to people who either do not have insurance or have circumstances that make the recovery process especially difficult.  We may not be able to help all who apply, but we will work to help as many as we can and connect others to resources within our network.  We reserve the right to select the candidates who are a good fit for team's skills.  If your application is accepted, or if we need additional information to evaluate your request, we will contact at the number or e-mail address you provide.

"Help Needed" Form

Looking for an opportunity to help the victims of Hurricane Harvey in the Bay Area? UBC is a member of the 4B Disaster Response Network (4BDRN), a local non-profit committed to rebuilding homes and helping affected families recover over the next 1 – 2 years. The 4B Disaster Response Network (4BDRN) along with Eight Days of Hope (EDOH) announced that they will be leading a major rebuilding effort in Southeast Houston in March 2018 to help the area rebuild from the aftermath of Hurricane Harvey.  March 10th through March 24th, 4BDRN and Eight Days of Hope will bring together volunteers from across the nation to help rebuild hundreds of homes. This event is expected to be the single largest volunteer rebuild effort over a 15-day period in U.S. history. click for full report
