Women's Bible Study Methods
Tuesday, March 6
9:15 am - Room LC 213
Taught by Lora Doremus, Director of Women's Ministries
Have you thought about what you will do for a "Quiet Time" when your Bible study class ends?
When there's no homework to do, do you tend to stare at your Bible wishing you had more direction?
Would you like to learn some simple ways to make God's Word come alive, even when it's just you and God? All alone in your room? Just the two of you?
You're invited to the Bible Study Methods seminar for women!
"Seminar" sounds sort of formal, however, this will be a relaxed time of learning easy and exciting ways to focus our Bible reading so that we position our ears to hear God's voice.
But the anointing that you received from Him abides in you, and you have no need that anyone should teach you (1 John 2:27). God Himself wants to teach you from His Word—the lessons you learn in this way will be the most personal lessons of all.
We will learn how to:
- apply any passage to our own "walking around lives" today, right where we are
- follow trails of thought using cross references
- meditate on one verse using related verses
- pray in new ways...and more!
No cost.
Bring your Bible, paper and something to write with.
