Are you a caregiver for your aging parent? On March 31, four local professionals will provide information and resources to help you carefully love your aging parents.
Panel of Presenters
Abraham Mathew—Finding the best living situation for your aging parents.
Abraham has been working in health care since 2003. He has been a direct caregiver, a social worker in a long-term care facility as well as an admissions director before becoming a licensed nursing home administrator in 2010. He is currently the health care administrator for The Crossings in League City.
Heather Benzenhoefer—the legal side of caring for aging parents.
Heather is an Associate Attorney with Waldron and Schneider. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from South Texas College of Law Houston and received her undergraduate degree from the University of Texas at Austin. Heather is passionate about helping people in all situations.
Linda Pouzar—the emotional side of aging parents.
Dr. Linda Pouzar is a family medicine doctor in Houston, Texas and is affiliated with multiple hospitals. She received her medical degree from Baylor College of Medicine and has been in practice for more than 20 years.
Joe Pouzar—the physical side of aging parents.
Dr. Joe Pouzar is a Family Medicine Specialist in Houston, Texas. He graduated with honors from Baylor College Of Medicine in 1987. Having more than 32 years of diverse experiences, especially in family medicine, he has his practice in the Clear Lake area.
Being a caregiver can be overwhelming at times. Faith@Home wants to help you get the resources that you need.
