Launch Sunday & Christy Nockels
Come celebrate the end of summer and launch into new Fall activities with the UBC community. New Bible studies and group activities for all ages are beginning! To help launch our new Fall season we have invited Christian recording artist, Christy Nockels for a weekend of fellowship, worship and musical celebration.
Christy Nockels, a recording artist with seven #1 radio songs to her credit, will be performing in concert Saturday night and participating in both worship services Sunday morning.
Born in Fort Worth TX, Christy was infused with a love of music and God's word at a young age through her parents. She has been nominated, along with her husband/co-writer Nathan, for many Dove awards including Female Vocalist of the Year and Inspirational Album of the Year. Christy's heart, through leading worship and song writing, is to help people communicate intimately with the living God, and to leave a legacy of proclaiming Jesus' fame to this generation.

Do you enjoy mission work? UBC Mission teams travel everywhere: from across Houston, to the expanses of the United States, and around the World. Meeting and working with other Christians worldwide to help improve lives and spread God's word.
Are you a "Young at Heart" adult? Our seasoned adults enjoy fellowship and ministry throughout the year with dinners, activities and special events.
Do you have young children in your family? UBC just hosted over 600 young children in a VBS that was truly a "High Seas Expedition". Check out our Children's Summer Activities for activities planned in the future.
