Giving
We are grateful for your faithfulness to God’s Kingdom in your finances as well as the trust you place in UBC to use these funds wisely. There is amazing peace available to us when we recognize that the Creator and Sustainer of all things owns it all and we are simply stewards of it. We pledge to be good stewards of your gifts, taking great care in how we manage and track the resources entrusted to us.
Giving Methods
You may make your gifts in a variety of forms. You will receive a receipt of your tax-deductible gifts in accordance with IRS requirements. Please let us know if you have any specific needs regarding the timing of these notifications.
Cash or Checks
Cash or checks can be:
• placed in the offering plate during Sunday-morning worship
• dropped off at UBC during normal business hours
• mailed to UBC / Attn. Accounting / 16106 Middlebrook Drive/ Houston, TX 77059
Direct Deposit
Simplify your giving by authorizing an automated transfer of funds for your regular tax-deductible giving to UBC. You may choose monthly or twice-monthly transfers from your bank account directly to the church account. Simply fill out the "Automatic Contribution Form" available in the church office, or download the form ,fill it out, and return it to UBC. Once we receive your form, we will contact you to confirm the information. You may discontinue the debits at any time.
Bill Pay
If you use on line bill pay through your financial institute, you can add UBC as a pay account and they will mail the check to UBC on your scheduled delivery date.
Online Giving
Website processing of financial gifts provides a fast, convenient, and secure way for you to give one-time gifts or recurring donations.
Although you have two options for on line giving, Electronic Check is much preferred. Transaction fees are negligible for Electronic Checks as compared to Credit Cards/Debit Cards.
Electronic check:
To make an e-check payment, you will need to provide the bank routing number and account number that appear at the bottom of a check. E- checks work much like a debit card, as the amount comes directly out of your account, but at a greatly reduced processing fee to UBC.
Debit Card/Credit Card:
Note that UBC strongly discourages online giving which leads to personal indebtedness. Please use a credit card only if your balance is paid in full each month. UBC offers Financial Peace University to strengthen our stewardship and find financial freedom.
While you will receive credit for the full donation please be aware that each transaction by credit card or debit card invokes a 2.5 – 4.0% fee to UBC.
If this is your first experience with UBC’s online giving system, we recommend that you create a profile. This stores your information so that it is unnecessary to re-enter it with each gift. It also allows you to track your on line giving.
Please Note...
The login used in the contribution system is NOT effective on ubc.org and vice versa. This allows the highest level of security for online giving.

Gifts of Stock or Other Assets
Stock and other assets may be donated to UBC. Please contact the Accounting Office at 281-488-8517 for additional infromation.
