Wednesday Evenings
Meal 5:30-6:15 pm
Prayer 6:15-7:00 pm
The entire UBC family is invited to gather on
Wednesday evenings in Fellowship Hall to share a meal together, and then to PrayTogether
around the tables. The meal* will
be served 5:00–6:15 p.m., and then at 6:15, we’ll hear a story (or two) of what
God is doing in and through the life of the UBC family, followed by
encouragement to pray with those around the table. Children are welcome, and should be encouraged to pray. Those who can’t make it in time for
dinner are welcome to come at 6:15 and join a group at a table to pray. We’ll conclude by 7:00 p.m.
Each week, we’ll hear a story of what God has been up to, in and
through the lives of UBC’ers and UBC ministries. We’ll give thanks to God, and then we’ll pray for the
ministry, as well as other ministries where God is at work. We’ll also pray for whatever is on the
hearts and minds of those present.
We need to pray together. We need to pray for God to work in and through us, especially during
this time of pastoral transition.
We need to pray for all involved in the search for a pastor for UBC. And we need to pray for one another as
we prepare to worship and fellowship together on Sunday, and as we serve others
during the week.
The UBC Food Service Ministry will have a wonderful meal prepared. The fellowship we enjoy around the
table will be fun and engaging. And the opportunity to pray, and be prayed for, is the blessing we all
need. Join us when you can as we
