Here you'll find a group where your child will have a great time, make friends, and learn about Jesus! All week, we're open for activities and classes. Check out the following groups, and join us this week!
Weekend Bible Study
Saturday evenings • 6:00 p.m.
Sunday mornings • 8:20, 9:30 & 11:00 a.m.
WBS is the foundation of Children's Ministry. Each week, loving, caring adults share the love of Christ with children in grades 1-5 with Bible study, games, songs, crafts, and lots of other fun activities. Children's departments are organized by grade level. Since this time is a Bible study, children should bring their Bibles each week. If you child does not have a Bible, let us know and we will be delighted to provide one for your child. Parents are encouraged to pick up their child from the classroom.
Children's Handbells
Sunday evenings • 4:00-4:45 p.m.
Handbells allows children to praise God through music as they learn to play rhythm instruments, choir chimes, and handbells.
Children learn to read music as they learn to play these instruments. Children's handbell groups are arranged according to age and experience.
Chorus Kids
Sunday evenings • 4:45-5:45 p.m.
Children sing cool songs, play fun games, and learn about worshiping God. The kids present a Christmas concert in December. During the spring, they will learn and present a musical, which allows children the opportunity to learn simple acting skills and teamwork.
Sunday Pizza Hut Pizza
Sunday evenings • 5:45-6:00 p.m.
Children can enjoy a pizza snack supper between activities for $1 per slice in the Fellowship Hall.
Bible Blast
Sunday evenings • 6:00-7:00 p.m.
Bible Blast is intentional about developing Bible skills in the lives of children. Kids come together each Sunday evening for a time of skills, drills, and thrills! Every child will have opportunity to learn Bible books, verses, key passages, and divisions; Bible book content; Bible history; Bible people; and life application. There will be games, music, and great prizes to win, as kids have a BLAST learning to love God's Word.
Kids BEAT (Kids Being Energized Around a Theme)
Wednesday evenings • 6:15-7:15 p.m.
Through the creative arts, kids can discover a new gift, build self-esteem, and see how many ways we can glorify God who gave us so many ways to express ourselves. In Kids BEAT, we have something for every child. Whether they choose art, dance, or drama - everything will be Bible-based, fun, creative, and active! The kids get to choose from breakouts that include art, drama, puppets, dance, stomp, martial arts, and flags! It's a kid's choice at Kids BEAT!
Royal Ambassadors
Tuesday evenings • 6:00-8:00 p.m.
In Royal Ambassadors (RAs), boys learn about UBC's missions involvement, as well as missionaries and their work throughout the world. RAs also focus on important virtues such as loyalty, teamwork, and responsibility.
