Adult Groups
In Acts 2, the first churches met in temple courts, in house settings, and other informal meetings. These new church communities began as small groups, just as Jesus had modeled with the disciples (Mark 3:14; Luke 6:12-19).Numerous Biblical examples admonish us to be closely involved with a few others in order that we might learn and grow from one another – the community of believers.
Nurturing the Christian life is important to us at UBC, and we believe it best takes place in Bible study classes and in small groups. These groups can be formed in a variety of ways.
